The Château Sirio estate

The estate has been producing wine for over two centuries. In 2015 Fabrice Priou and his Irish wife Emer Kirwan-Buckley, both passionate wine lovers, acquired the vineyard and changed its name to Château Sirio.

The total surface of the Sirio estate is 18 hectares, with six hectares currently in production – Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties for the red wine, Sauvignon blanc, Sauvignon gris and Sémillon for the white. The average age of the vines is 25 years. Starting in 2017 a further 6 hectares will be progressively replanted. The rest of the estate consists of six hectares of woodland and forest areas which are carefully tended in an eco-responsible manner.
